I ordered this for my 7 year old grandson who visits us from out of state each summer, but the truth is I've become addicted to it myself. The game allows two players to work together in each level which meant that my grandson and I were able to play together which was fun. The levels are based on the Indie movies with corresponding challenges and characters.

The game may look cool but there are things worng with this game like: At the end of the Last Crusade you know in the movie that in the temple of the holy grail scene when Indy's dad got shot that doesn't happen in this game, when the temple was coming down and one of the stone hit the ground and made a hole in the ground and when Dr. Elsa Schneider tries to get the Grail she falls in the pit, but in the game Indy and Sallah come out of the temple Indy's dad was teaching Elsa how to play golf. This game also forgot some levels like the temple of the Hovitos (the level when the boulder comes out) you can see it and go in it but its not the way you'll be excpecting. In the Temple of Doom part of the game they forgot the mine car level. Raiders of the lost ark doesn't have the Flying wing level, you see the plane inside a fence you can buy and fly with it.Also in the temple of Doom they forgot the Nightclub level, when Wille was danceing then Indy starts fighting with the Shaghai gagsters. In the Last Crusade they forgot the motorcycle chase level. The cool thing about this game is they have bosses. I recomend the first one then this one.

My 9 year old adores this game. Safe with no adult themes and he plays it a lot. Great game to play with the kids.

I was so excited when I heard that a second Lego Indy was coming out so imagine my disappointment when all of the things that I loved about the first one are not there.
The biggest disappointment is you can't cycle through the characters like before. If you have to do a challenge that requires specific characters, you have to wander throughout the entire level to find the ones that you need and then go back to complete the challenge. You also can't buy characters or vehicles anymore, you have to earn them after completing certain tasks.
Honestly I had to cave and buy the guide to go with it because I couldnt figure out how to access some of the challenges.
After playing it, I probably should have rented it instead of buying it. Not a repeat play for me like the first Lego Indy or Lego Star Wars.
